If you are looking to get your foot in the door to a career in business and IT our Apprentice IT Support Technician role is an excellent opportunity for you to gain practical work-based experience in a broad range of duties. We will also pay for your Level 3 Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship with Bournemouth and Poole College.

Join a growing IT team within a rapidly expanding FMCG business. Where you will learn to handle and log 1st and 2nd line issues arising from software or hardware issues, raised by users over multiple sites. Provide remote support where applicable and physical assessments of hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily support of the user base and domain.
• Patching workstations and maintaining asset logs.
• Identify areas for preventative maintenance.
• Willingness to learn to support project work to meet deadlines and budgets.

Skills and Experience:

• A keen understanding and enthusiasm for Windows and Office based applications.
• Knowledge of Android and mobile handsets
• Excellent communication skills including a professional and personable telephone manner.
• Organised, with good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and maths grades 9-4 (formerly A*-C). Alternatively, successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification and have achieved a Level 2 Functional Skill in English, maths and ICT
