Role: PC software applications engineer

Level: Junior – Mid-level but would consider a graduate

Location: Andover

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 dependant on level

We are looking for a reasonably junior person and would even consider a graduate provided their course material covered hardware and software and they have very strong grades.

Additionally, we wouldn’t rule out a software developer if they have experience writing applications that interact directly with hardware.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Must have a sound knowledge of electronics.
  • Must be prepared to spend 50% of their time writing software applications to support the electronics to design.
  • Must be prepared to work in the Andover offices the majority of the time (preferably full-time).
  • Job Description

    The purpose of this role is to work in the Engineering Department designing, developing and building the automatic test equipment required by the Engineering Department to evaluate the performance of patented products. The role requires a good electronics knowledge as well as software development experience.

    We think this position will be right for you if…

    • You eat, sleep and breathe design.
    • You have a Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or similar. Software Engineering-related degrees will also be considered.
    • You have a sound knowledge of electronic design principles.
    • You have a good knowledge of software development in any of the following languages: C, C#, Python.
