As a Barclays Test and Environment Lead, you will be responsible for defining and driving the Test (Functional and Non Functional), Automation and Environment strategy for the App of the Future Programme to enable a best in class, fully automated delivery pipeline from build through to go live for the programme. This will also include ensuring risks to the Business/Product teams are mitigated through timely, robust, precise automated execution of test plans across all Programme work streams.

What will you be doing?

  • Developing the Programme Test Strategy ensuring it is updated and base lined to reflect changes to the project risk profile
  • You will be responsible for development of the Programme Environment Strategy to support parallel development across multiple work streams
  • Defining test approach and estimate to ensure it’s optimum; meets project goals without compromising quality and time to market
  • Ensuring Test/Environment/Test data Program RAIDS are identified, maintained regularly and mitigated
  • Actively ensuring complete test coverage across the programme during the SIT, Perf and PEN phases, based on designated scope
  • Ensuring E2E test environment(s) are created and enable fast paced iterative delivery with quality shifted left

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive knowledge and experience within testing methodologies
  • Extensive knowledge of environment management
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of SDLC
  • Proven track record of implementing best in class test and automation methodologies

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

  • End to End banking processes exposure, ideally testing large scale banking infrastructure
  • Performance Testing and tooling exposure.
  • Experience of working with cross cultural teams at multi locations
  • Excellent conflict management skills and generate trust and respect in team
