We are looking for a midwife with experience in all aspects of maternity care who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and committed to the provision of a high quality service and has excellent leadership skills.Working with a variety of staff groups in and out of the NHS your communications skills will be first-rate and you will be able to communicate complex, sometimes difficult information to mothers and families and your fellow colleagues. This also means that your written communication will be clear and appropriate to those reading it. This includes writing excellent patient notes and producing clear and effective reports.If you want to be part of a growing developing team with a great future we would love to hear from you.See what our team think about working at SWFT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccoqBPEbNzcYou WillHave the drive and initiative to ensure that Consultant and Midwifery Led care is optimally provided to the women who choose to have their babies within the Maternity Unit.Ensure that women and their families experience an excellent standard of care in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team.Provide professional and managerial leadership to all staff working on Swan Ward.Support midwives to develop, update and extend their practice within the antenatal and postnatal period.Demonstrate excellence in clinical practice, ward management, providing leadership while fulfilling a caring and teaching function.Ensure availability of adequate resources for effective care.Assist in the setting, development and monitoring of standards and policies and to ensure services meet the changing needs of obstetric and midwifery practice.Come and join a Trust rated Outstanding by the CQC.
