An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, dynamic, forward thinking physiotherapist to join our Musculoskeletal Outpatient & Inpatient Orthopaedic Teams at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.We are looking for a flexible Band 6 Physiotherapist, with excellent communication skills to join our knowledgeable and forward thinking team.This post will offer opportunities to clinically enhance and develop your specialist skills & knowledge within Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic Physiotherapeutic care.The post is divided into three distinct rotations which are all fully supported by senior staff, which include orthopaedic inpatients (including elective and trauma rehabilitation), SWATT (community MDT home visits to patients following discharge after elective orthopaedic surgery) and Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy, working in services in both the North and South of the county. The post includes weekend working and ‘On-Call’ responsibilities. Car driver essential.To provide a high standard physiotherapy service within outpatient MSK physiotherapy services, orthopaedic inpatient services and thecommunity service for the Orthopaedic early discharge scheme [SWATT].To participate in the Band 6 nine-monthly rotations, working across the Trust.To work as an accountable and autonomous practitioner, holding responsibility for own caseload.To work in conjunction with the Pathway and Team leads in planning, coordinating, delivering and evaluating the Physiotherapy service within the rotation on a day to day basis.To take a role in the provision of support and clinical supervision of lessExperienced Physiotherapy Staff And Undergraduate Students.To deputise for the Team leaders as required.To keep accurate records of patient contact using written records andelectronic data capture.To actively participate in weekend working and the on call service.Come and join a Trust rated Outstanding by the CQC.
