Role purpose:
Vodafone have recently upgraded to the latest SAP technology and are looking for a proven analytics lead who can maximise value from analytics with a driven product mind-set.
This individual will take accountability to set the agenda for analytic product(s) assigned with a value outcome focused roadmap as well as improving the operational delivery to optimise benefits for Vodafone.
The Vodafone CIS analytics team has a key focus on designing and delivering high quality analytics products to enable our corporate stakeholders. This product manager sits alongside other product managers who will need to work closely together to align on recommendations and key points of integration.
Vodafone have recently deployed SAP Analytic Cloud - which has led to the creation of this role. It is expected that this will form the primary focus of this role as we move from project implementation into service delivery. The dynamic nature of Vodafone and technology means that this will be reviewed periodically to ensure that we are maximising value from the latest and best analytic capabilities.
The role will need to blend technical expertise and strong stakeholder management in order to integrate effective outcome that meets the needs of our business. It will look to deliver in an agile manner – driving a product backlog with business alignment so that we ensure delivery across matrix teams and challenge vendors to align to our priorities.
They will serve as the key technology point of contact to ensure effective support, advice and expertise on the design and best practice to exploit value from the product(s) they lead.
With us you will:
- Define and deliver product roadmaps to meet the reporting and analytic needs of the business for products assigned
- Analyse business requirements to ensure the appropriate use across our analytical products
- Engage with business to collect requirements/user stories.
- Manage the product backlog delivery – aligning iterative prioritisation with the business
- Provide expert advice and best practice to guide business and system integrators on product development
- Define dependencies with other Products/Projects.
- Engage/review service operations for the overall product health (e.g. IT Controls).
- Ensure compliancy with security, architecture, privacy/GDPR, SOX and audit controls.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Deep technical expertise with at least 5 years’ experience in any one of the following:
- Technical expertise in analytics
- Proven track record in technical project delivery and technical design governance.
- Proven track record within one of the following:
- Agile: preferably scaled agile framework
- Process Optimisation: continuous improvement
- Innovation: driving organisational capabilities
- Ability to drive & lead complex projects
