Demonstrator and Pre-Delivery Inspection position

Reporting to: Sales Director/Service Co-ordinator & Production Manager.

Responsible for:

· Delivering machines

· Ensuring machines arrive in a timely manner and in good condition

· Commissioning machines

· Ensuring customers understand how to use their machine in order for them to get the most out of our product

· Being helpful and friendly

· Demonstrating machines

· Answering customers questions on the machines

· Making

· PDI testing of machines to ensure they are meet our standards before delivery

Job description

This role involves delivering and commissioning machines to customers, as well as working alongside our sales department to demonstrate the machine to potential customers. Applicants must be willing to travel all over the country spending periods of time away from home. Applicants must have good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively relay the quality and efficacy of our machine to customers and must be willing to build a strong knowledge of the machine so as to answer customer’s questions sufficiently.

Person specification

Essential

· Good communication Experience with driving Crop Sprayers, Combines, Tractors and other Agricultural machinery over varied terrain and knowledge of drilling processes and crop management.

· A positive and pragmatic attitude, reliable and organised

· Good interpersonal skills

· Friendly, Positive and polite attitude

· Ability to work as a team and on their own

· Experience driving agricultural machinery

· Technologically competent

· Like meeting new people

· Must be willing to travel all over the country with overnight stays

Desirable

· Experience operating and driving Self-Propelled Sprayers

· Agricultural back ground

· Live within an hour of the factory

· HGV License
