Agricultural Sales Representative

Duties:
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
- Present, promote, and sell agricultural products to existing and prospective customers
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships

We are looking to appoint an Agricultural Sales Representative based out of Newton St.Cyres Crediton, covering a large area including Holsworthy, Crediton and down towards Kingsbridge, and everywhere in between.

The ideal candidate will have already worked within the agricultural industry in some form; however sales experience is not crucial. Full training will be given.

Computer literacy is important and a commitment to build strong relationships with their customer base is essential.

This is a commission-based job role where the sky is the limit on sales. You will be selling after market products and equipment to the dairy industry.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Calling in on pre planed routes delivering chemicals and sundries
  • Cold calling expanding the current routes in a new area
  • Building customer relationships through time and territory management
  • Selling new equipment to new and existing customers
  • Handling the current customer contracts already in place.
  • Quoting new customer contracts

Qualifications:

-Worked within the Agricultural industry (dairy is a plus)
- Proven work experience as a Sales Representative or relevant role
- Computer literacy / Mobile phone
- Familiarity with CRM practices along with the ability to build productive business professional relationships
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £26,000.00-£49,000.00 per year
