Opus Vitae are actively recruiting for a Farming/Livestock Account Executive to join a highly prestigious insurance company based within the Shrewsbury area.

Hours of work: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday

Salary: £30,000-£35,000pa dependent upon experience.

Experience we are looking for:

  • Mininimum of 2-3 years experience within an account handling role in the Agricultural insurance sector
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to build rapport with clients and customers
  • Experience of winning new business and closing sales
  • Proficient within IT packages, including Microsoft Office, Acturis software highly desired
  • Knowledge of compliance and FCA regulations

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain the current Farm accounts
  • Provide assistance on Agricultural claims to members of the team as required along with liaising with insurers and loss adjusters
  • Attend Livestock Sales Market Days and represent the company in discussions with London Market Insurers as required
  • Closing the sale & securing cross selling business and referrals
  • Ensuring all business activity fully complies with FCA regulation and company procedures
  • Achieving and maintaining a high level of customer service and promoting exceptional customer care standards at all times
