The faster they can transform, the better it is for our planet.An Advanced Manufacturing Engineer’s primary responsibility will be to work closely with Technical Product Leaders, Product Design Engineers, Quality Assurance, & Lab Technicians to ensure that manufacturing test processes are appropriately validated to meet customer requirements. The role can be required to work at any of our three sites depending on business need.Job RoleIn this role the Advanced Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the following:

• Introduce new production test designs for medium to high volume production
• Develop and optimize manufacturing solutions, for both in-house or external plant
• Analyze and troubleshoot manufacturing yield issues at EMS or Turntide Production sites
• Provide DFM/A feedback to Electrical Hardware & Mechanical Design for NPI projects
• Lead PFMEA activities & support DFMEA reviews with Electrical Hardware & Mechanical Design teams
• Translate process design requirements & specifications from PFMEA reviews
• Ensure quality & safety of the manufacturing processes & equipment
• Support production including travel to external manufacturing facilities

Experience And SkillsWe’re looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:

• Experience designing & deploying manufacturing process solutions for high volume production
• Understand Quality & Equipment Safety standards

It would also be great (but not essential) if in addition to the above you also had:

• Working with Global manufacturing sites and suppliers
• Knowledge of in one or more of the following:
• Battery storage solutions / Battery Management Systems
• Power Electronics (Inverters, DCDCs, OBCs)
• Electric Machines (PMAC, Induction, SRM)
• Electric Pumps and Fans

QualificationsA degree or equivalent in the following discipline is required: Motor Control, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Power Electronics or similar.Relevant experience could also be consideredAttributesThe ideal candidate will have the following personal qualities:
