JOB TITLE:Administrator (Construction Department)

LOCATION:Honiton / Hybrid - role is part office/part home-based, successful candidate must be Devon based as induction, training and meetings will take place in Honiton

SALARY: £23,000

HOURS: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

BENEFITS: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, up to 10% Annual Bonus, Group life assurance, Discounted RAC Breakdown Cover, Wellbeing Service.

THE ROLE: You will be an integral part of the Construction Department supporting with all aspects of the administration process, carrying out the PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) processes from start to end. You will continually build relationships with internal and external parties on a daily basis.

Key Duties And Responsibilities Will Include
  • Identify foreseeable project risks and escalate to the Senior PIA Co-ordinator
  • Book and monitor whereabouts activity for any personnel accessing the PIA Network on behalf of the company
  • Ensure all civils tasks are closed with the appropriate level of evidence and information to ensure they are compliant
  • Conduct weekly meetings with Contractors to review all PIA civils and highlight any outstanding evidence
  • Provide constructive feedback and support the team members on day-to-day duties
  • Provide telephone and system support as and when required
  • Produce daily reporting
  • Coordinate with the Quality Control team to ensure full compliance has been adhered to by Third-Party Contractors before signing off any build complete areas
  • Promoting improvements in Safety in line with the objectives set by the Safety Manager
  • Providing general administrative support to the team as required
  • Any ad hoc duties requested by the PIA Manager or Senior PIA Co-ordinator
The Person
  • Good prior administration experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office
  • Thrives in a multi-tasking environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly
  • Understanding of operational delivery in a commercially focused business environment and timely delivery of customer requirements
  • Essential to work well within teams and to be able to self-motivate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent people skills and telephone manner
  • Detail oriented and analytical
