VACANCY: Administrator (Maternity cover) July 2021 to June 2022

LOCATION: Middlesbrough

SALARY: £17,877

WORK PATTERN: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:40

Our client, an engineering contractor, based in Middlesbrough is looking to recruit an Administration Assistant to provide support to the Operations Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • General administration
  • Purchasing - raise purchase orders and deal with supplier queries
  • Manage travel and accommodation
  • Answer telephones and deal with customer queries
  • Raise project numbers
  • Distribute external and internal mail
  • Customer liaison
  • Database management
  • Arrange inspections with the customer
  • Issue inspection files to engineers and keep a log of when they are due
  • Produce reports following routine inspections, send the report to the customer and update the database

Qualifications & Attributes
  • GCSE or equivalent Grade A-C in English and Maths

  • Ability to interface well with colleagues and customers
  • Works well under own initiative (logical thinking and problem solver)
