At Pertemps Exeter, we have a vacancy for anOperations Administratorbased at our clients site in Heathfield - Newton Abbott

The Position Will Involve
  • To ensure that effective, open and proactive communication is maintained at all times and response times to customers on all customer service matters are timely and Professional.
  • To provide a direct administration function for all GDL and Customer documentation. Scanning, filling and general housekeeping. Check, collate and control the flow of paperwork – minimising the use of paper where possible.
  • Prepare and process the requested daily orders, stock movements, stock checks, and returns. And ensure they are despatched within time frames given.
  • To ensure control of Warehouse Clients products using the Company Warehouse Management system is accurate and within company procedures.
  • To assist the Warehouse team by processing any required paperwork within the department.
  • Check, collate and control the flow of paperwork.
  • Compile weekly KPI’s
  • Log and control warehouse records for weekly and monthly audits
  • To liaise directly with customers regarding any aspect of a query/ complaint in a timely and professional manner, escalating to line manager as and when required.
  • Inform supervisor / manager immediately of any potential or actual complication which may prevent success of the department.
  • To make sure that all internal systems are updated with the correct information, allowing a smooth operation to take place.
  • To raise customer invoices and deal with any invoice queries
  • To process order requests, raise and issue PO’s and process supplier invoices
  • To assist with any training requirements within the office
  • Ensure service is delivered in line with contractual customer requirements.
  • Anticipate and manage changes generated by business growth and changing customer requirements
  • Liaise with other GDL depots or out-based locations to ensure consistency and quality of service is maintained throughout.
  • All Company Health & Safety policies and rules must be observed. You are responsible for ensuring that you do not put yourself or others at risk by your actions; you must report any hazards to your manager immediately.
