Farleigh Further Education College Frome is an independent specialist residential college for young people aged 16 to 25 with autistic spectrum disorders, Asperger’s syndrome and associated complex needs including behavioural difficulties.
We aim to provide every young person with an individually tailored programme of education, care, work experience, leisure and life skills and training within the community, to enable them to live as independently as possible.
Our dedicated team of staff create a safe, secure and independent living environment where our learners have a sense of belonging within their group and a sense of ownership of their home. Our approach enables young people to develop the confidence and skills they need to progress towards adulthood, including further or higher education and sustainable independent living in the community.

We are seeking an administrator with superb organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to join our busy, friendly offices where high standards are essential. Working across Farleigh FE College and North Hill House School, the successful candidate must be able to take accurate notes at key meetings and produce reports that reflect the salient points and the professional image of the business. They must also be able to manage some day to day financial activities as required, such as petty cash, placing orders and processing invoices. This role may also include providing reception cover on a regular basis.

The role holder should have a keen eye for detail, ensuring all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with Aspris policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met.
As a member of the Admin Team the successful candidate will also handle external and internal enquiries, prioritising as appropriate, and undertake other administrative tasks as required. Excellent communication, organisational and literacy skills are key.

This role will also involve providing support to the local HR team, assisting with Safer Recruitment and other HR processes, and eventually providing cover for payroll duties.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to begin or develop a career in this environment. Basic IT skills are essential, but no experience is required as full training will be provided. This is a fast-paced and demanding role, and a high level of literacy and numeracy is essential. You will have excellent communication skills, a flexible approach, and be able to remain calm under pressure.

We are seeking a full time member of our team, working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
