Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit an administrator to work within Kyloe House Secure Children’s Home near Morpeth, Northumberland. This is an exciting new post which will be ideal for someone wanting to provide high quality administration to support accuracy of clinical records, which will enhance the health and well-being of young people in Kyloe House Secure Children’s Home.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but within the clinical team. Be able to communicate and collaborate in an engaging way with the multi agency team that works within Kyloe House. We want someone who has excellent organisational and problem-solving skills to implement process to ensure the historical and current health issues are systematically stored. The post holder will need to support the clinical team is data collection and process writing as well as maintaining an accurate SystmOne record.

We are looking for someone who can ensure the Trust meets its responsibilities to the young people within Kyloe House by supporting the clinical teams to meet the health needs in line with the Healthcare Standards for children and young people in secure settings. We want someone with good professional practice who wants to make a difference to these young people’s long term health outcomes

This role is based within Kyloe House Secure Children’s Home working closely alongside Northumberland County Council (NCC) and Cumbria, Newcastle, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) staff.

Main Purpose of the Job

  • To provide a general clerical and administrative service to the Children in Care Team. This post will be split between Wansbeck General Hospital and Kyloe House Secure Children Home.
Dimensions

  • Works as a member of the Team contributing to the smooth running of services on offer.
  • Works within a clear framework of delegated tasks but without continuous supervision.
