We are seeking an organised, proactive, problem solver to join our team in the Phoenix Centre, based at Cage Green Primary School.

We have an admin role for two days per week (days to be agreed), between 9am and 3pm with a half hour lunch break.

The successful candidate will be someone who is able to support the centre manager and teachers with all administration tasks associated with the centre, this will involve activities such as organising schedules for meetings, liaising with parents and professionals, collating and organising paperwork, taking minutes and preparing resources.

The Phoenix Centre is a Specialist Resource Provision for 31 primary aged children with Education, Health and Care plans and a diagnosis of an autistic spectrum condition, some children also have additional needs.

There are three classes with approximately 10 children per class. The centre provides an adapted National Curriculum offering to our children, taking into account their communication, social, physical and sensory needs. While the role is an admin one, interaction with the children in the centre is vital. Therefore some understanding of, or willingness to learn about, the needs of children with autism is essential.

The centre is staffed by a team of experts who work within the provision itself but is part of Cage Green Primary School.

This role will be paid on KR3 ££18,039 (to be pro rata’d for 11 hours per week, 38 weeks per year)

We welcome early applications and will close the vacancy if a suitable candidate is found.
