We are looking for an energetic and focused deputy manager to work within this fast-growing company with a robust knowledge and understanding of CQC focused Quality Assurance Frameworks. A deputy manager looking to take on a new challenge and support our manager at this dynamic service. A knowledge of Addiction and / or Mental Health services is essential. Training and support will be provided. A Driving Licence would be beneficial due to location.

Knowledge And Skills Required

Knowledge of drug and alcohol addictions a must Management of Budgets and working within financial frameworks, while maintaining a high standard of service. Working within CQC, key performance Indicators and standards while ensuring continual evidence of same. Working with the regulatory bodies in inspections, outcomes, recommendations and the formation of working action plans to address recommendations and evidence transparency in the service provision. Notification of all reportable incidents to regulatory bodies. Management of the quality of services, through audits, supervision, appraisals, training and appropriate staffing. Staff recruitment, interviews and ensuring all relevant DBS. PIN checks are in place and monitored Management of staff, problematic sickness/absence, disciplinary, grievances and performance management. Management of all complaints and safeguarding concerns directed by the Duty of Candour. Carrying out full investigations and subsequent reports into, incidents, complaints, safeguarding issues and medication errors. Management of skill-based staff rosters, within the correct recommended staffing levels. Marketing of service provision within the community and with professionals within the local referrals systems. Ensuring the service can evidence the safety of vulnerable adults and that the care provided is appropriately validated and reviewed regularly. Management of all Medication, ensuring medication in administered safely, by competent staff, the stock is controlled, audited and checked. Management of Health and Safety and Fire Safety, ensuring the service is compliant with all statutory regulations. Chairing of Clinical Governance, Health and safety, staff and clients / service users’ meetings. Management of service level agreements and contracted services ensuring they work within Clinical Governance standards, constitutional and contractual requirements.
