NHS Borders are delighted to be inviting applicants to join our Borders Addictions Service (BAS) at Band 6 Nurse. This is a fantastic lifestyle changing opportunity to work in the Scottish Borders and experience the benefits of rural life with very easy access to major cities such as Edinburgh (37 Miles) Glasgow (75 miles) and Newcastle (75 miles).

BAS is looking to recruit 1 band 6 registered nurses 15 hours to its team.

The nurse will work as a member of a multidisciplinary/multi-serviceworking in both a clinical setting as well as the more informal Drop-ins,looking to offer holistic care and support for people with addiction issues provided across the Scottish Borders,

You will have the opportunity to work with-in this innovative nationally recognised team being the only NHS board in Scotland to meet the first 5 Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) standards.
