Activity Organiser

An exciting opportunity has arisen on Holford Ward - psychiatric intensive care unit - for an energetic, enthusiastic and innovative practitioner in the role of Activity Organiser. Holford Ward is a mixed gender, 10 bedded mental health ward for those suffering with complex and challenging mental health issues.

Under supervision the post holder will plan, co- ordinate and implement a range of individual and group activities designed to meet social and recreational needs of inpatients.

The post holder will be required to use their initiative when working independently on the wards and are expected to report any clinical progress, concerns or change to a qualified practitioner.

Please note: If you are successful for interview, you will be required to bring the following with you: Proof of any essential qualifications stated on the Job Description, proof of NHS payslip if coming from another NHS Organisation and all ID to prove your identity and Right to Work (More details will follow for successful applicants invited to interview)
