Here at RS, we are always looking to recruit & grow the future of our business and one way is through apprenticeships. This is an extremely exciting opportunity to join the Accounts Team as an Accounts Receivable Apprentice. The detail of this Apprenticeship standard is found below:

Credit controller and collector / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education

This is a 15-month Apprenticeship with an option to progress to a permanent position if the business circumstances allow.

This is an entry level role and will suit candidates with limited experience in accounts.

What you’ll be doing

The main purpose of the role is to carry out operational activities to support the collection of debt from customers in line with organisational terms and ways of working.

These activities will include ensuring customer accounts are set up and updated, dealing with incoming customer emails and disputes, responding promptly to internal and external customer queries, supporting and implementing new ideas, making follow up calls to ensure that all queries are resolved, chasing overdue payment of invoices and general administrative duties.

About you

• The right to live and work in the UK
• Must have lived within the EU/EEA for at least 3 years
• Able to travel to Corby
• Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook

• Can work under pressure
• Self-Motivated & Team Player

• Good telephone manner
• Willingness to learn and take guidance.

The extras you’ll get

This is an office-based role so you must be able to travel to the Corby office. We are offering a £16k salary plus company benefits & 22 days paid holiday
