Permanent Accounts Payable Supervisor

Ellesmere Port

£30,000 -£35,000

4 days in the office 1 day from home

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join a growing business.

The main purpose of the Accounts Payable Supervisor role is to organise and oversee the Accounts Payable Team. You will be responsible for organising the day to day activities of the team and processes.

Key duties include:

  • Line management of the AP team

  • Operating payment runs inline with set deadlines
  • Ensuring accurate and timely statement reconciliations
  • Setting KPIs
  • Manage supplier communications
  • Arranging training for new and existing staff
  • Drive process development within the AP function
  • Lead communication with key departments and build relationships with stakeholders
  • Supporting internal and external audit requests

Knowledge & Experience

  • Must have Accounts Payable Supervisory experience
  • Experience in the use and development of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Use of all Microsoft Office packages
  • Methodical with good attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills - including written and verbal
