CMA Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a reputable, large client based on the outskirts of Southampton to support them on the recruitment of a temporary Accounts Payable Manager.The Accounts Payable Manager is a newly created role due to a change in the structure of the finance department. The role requires an ASAP start in the immediate term, but will have scope to turn permanent in the medium term for the successful candidate.What will the Accounts Payable Manager role involve?
  • Management and participation of the day to day processing of invoices, ensuring payments are accurately recorded;
  • Responsibility of supervising the Accounts Payable team;
  • Ensuring invoices are matched to purchase orders in line with company policy;
  • Completing bank reconciliations on a regular basis and performing general bookkeeping duties;
  • Taking lead on effective process improvements;
  • Overseeing the setup of new vendors and identifying issues;
  • Dealing with complex queries and resolving supplier queries.
Suitable Candidate For The Accounts Payable Manager Vacancy
  • Previous team management experience;
  • A minimum of 3 years’ working in the Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable function;
  • Experience working with high volume transactions.
