Accounts Manager - Modern Accountancy Practice - Full or Part-time

Are you working in Practice and looking for a role with a modern, relaxed culture who can offer flexible hours? If so, our client is currently seeking an Accounts Manager to join their team at a time of growth and expansion.

This Will Include

Reporting to a Director and overseeing a small team including Bookkeepers and Payroll, you will be the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients and will take responsibility for providing end to end Accountancy services to those clients.
  • Preparation of statutory accounts & associate tax returns
  • Personal Tax returns
  • Overseeing bookkeeping and VAT returns
  • Training and development of junior staff
  • Reviewing processes and systems and identifying improvements to ensure work is completed efficiently and within deadlines
To be considered, applicants will need recent experience of preparing year end accounts and tax returns within a Practice environment. This will be combined with exceptional communication skills and a supervise and develop a small team.

As this is a client facing role you will be required to attend meetings - when permitted - and so candidates must have a licence and own means of transport.
