About Our Client

The Accounts Assistant role sits within an established business based in Billingham.

Job Description

The main duties of the Billingham based Accounts Assistant are;

  • Administrate the purchase order management process
  • Administrate the site’s petty cash
  • Maintenance of site contracts (cleaning, waste disposal, site canteen etc)
  • Forecast setting and Budget monitoring
  • Daily / Weekly reporting and forecasting
  • Producing monthly management cost reporting pack and analysis of variances
  • Monthly non-financial reporting (KPI) and analysis of variances
  • Providing financial support to non-financial Managers
  • Assistance in Productivity Measurement and Improvement Projects

The Successful Applicant

The successful Billingham based Accounts Assistant will;

  • Be AAT qualified or part qualified working towards.
  • Have the ability to demonstrate a structured approach to scheduled activities
  • Be pro-activate in using initiative and seeking ways to constantly improve standards
  • Be IT literate, particularly with Microsoft Office & Excel
  • Have previously worked in a similar role
