This varied and interesting position offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic person to develop their full potential and play a key role within a small, supportive and friendly team.

You will need a minimum of three years accountancy practice experience and be a qualified Accounting Technician or part-qualified Accountant.

You will require a good working knowledge of professional accounting and tax software as well as client book-keeping programmes such as Quickbooks and Sage. You must be well organised and confident, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy meeting and working directly with small business owners. Self-motivated and hard working, you must be able to work flexibly, prioritise workloads and take initiatives.

A competitive package in the salary range of £23,500-£26,500 (37.5 hrs/week pro rata) will be offered, to include statutory holiday plus bank holidays, plus annual bonus and company pension. The position is ideally full time, but flexible/part time hours could be considered for a suitable applicant.
