CMA Recruitment Group is working with a well-established asset management company based in Whiteley, to support them with the recruitment of an Accounting Manager.The Accounting Manager is a newly created role and will be responsible for supporting the management of day-to-day accounting services including all operational, people management and compliance duties.What will the Accounting Manager role involve?
  • Manage the timely and accurate production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports;
  • Manage the production of monthly, quarterly and annual VAT returns and Corporation Tax Returns;
  • Monitor the quality and service levels of team ensuring compliance in line with company requirements;
  • Ensure financial statements prepared are in line with UK GAAP/IFRS or other appropriate standards;
  • Responsibility of supervising a small team.
Suitable Candidate For The Accounting Manager Vacancy
  • ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountant;
  • Background working/training in an accountancy practice would be highly beneficial but is not essential;
  • Strong technical knowledge of latest accounting standards including IFRS/GAAP;
  • A confident self-starter, keen to learn and grow with the business.
