CMA is working with an ambitious, dynamic company. Due to a number of their existing clients requiring a UK presence they have set up a UK Head Office in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Reporting to the UK Director, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the business at an exciting time, where you will build the team and implement processes and controls.What will the role involve -
  • Processing a range of financial transactions into accounting system;
  • Processing a number of small payrolls;
  • Setting up payments on the banking platforms;
  • Bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation;
  • Assisting with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns;
  • Assisting with preparation of periodic management accounts;
  • Data Management System control, source document and checklist administration;
  • Following firm’s risk management and quality control procedures at all times;
  • As experience increases you will have an opportunity to take on more responsibility.
Suitable candidate -
  • Our ideal candidate will have good educational background and studying towards ACCA/CIMA with a desire to work in Financial Services;
  • You will have a strong practical knowledge of the principles of bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns;
  • You must have good knowledge of financial reporting in order for your application to be successful.
