What will you be doing?

As an Account Director you will be responsible for retaining and growing a number of key accounts within the Utilities sector. Through effective and proactive relationship management up to C-Level, you will be a trusted adviser and be well placed to identify business challenges and how they can be addressed by Vodafone’s wide portfolio – ranging from IOT, Cloud, Security as well as traditional connectivity.

You will have a deep understanding of industry trends and will use this external knowledge plus your relationships within the organisation to work collaboratively and strategically.

In addition, you will work with the internal colleagues supporting the account to ensure that customer satisfaction and experience are at always at optimum levels.

You will input to and influence decisions and provide specialist skills and knowledge relating to your customers.

Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Delivering and exceeding against Sales performance targets measured through new contract signings, revenue growth and profitability
  • Create and drive an Account plan / strategy to deliver against KPIs balancing retain & grow.
  • Understanding the customer’s industry and develop a specific strategy and business plan in line with Vodafone’s product and service portfolio
  • Implementing and manage local contingency plans to deal with internal/external business issues that impact upon revenue, cost or margin
  • Driving NPS improvement through delivering end to end customer experience through effective relationships
Who are we looking for?
  • Experience of managing large customer relationships
  • Proven track record of over-achievement against sales targets.
  • Broad Technology knowledge - preferably experience in selling mobile and fixed voice, Unified Communications, Cloud & Security, IoT
  • Proven record of driving commercial sales strategies and adapting to macro/micro economic conditions achieving significant business growth
  • Excellent customer and stakeholder management skills – exposure to C level
