Due to rapid growth of the School of Medicine, a vacancy has arisen for a teacher of A Level Chemistry and Access to Medical Science (Chemistry units). This is an exceptional opportunity to work in this high achieving and ambitious department.

A Level: We are looking to appoint a passionate and inspiring practitioner who will help build on the recent success of the School of Medicine. With small class sizes of students with exceptional academic potential and aspirations to study Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Science, you will have excellent subject knowledge and motivation. Additionally, you will support the Curriculum Manager to enhance provision and will get the chance to get involved with high school liaison activities.

Medical Science: You will need to be able to mark and grade students’ work effectively against specified assessment criteria. You also need to be able to provide advice and support to students with respect to Higher Education applications via the UCAS application system and provide references. You will provide constructive feedback, complete mark sheets, mark and return student work, including examinations, within agreed time frames
