2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer

A growing IT Consultancy in Maidenhead is looking for a 2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.

The Support Engineer will be responsible for the effective delivery of customer solutions ensuring that they are completed within timescale, cost, scope, and quality. This role is also responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the company’s solutions ensuring that high quality support services are being delivered and managed according to pre-defined SLAs.

Responsibilities

Remote and onsite Technical Support. Experienced with provisioning, configuring, and supporting the following technologies:

  • Azure
  • Windows Network and Server Infrastructure
  • Office 365
  • System Monitoring and Management
  • HP Network and Router infrastructure
  • Sophos Security Suite
  • Gamma VoIP
Requirements

  • Logical and methodical approach to working with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer focused approach and commitment to service delivery
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of Windows environments- specifically: Active directory, Exchange 2010 and above, Windows Microsoft Office Office365 and Desktop Operating System building, maintenance, and deployment
  • Knowledge of networking technologies
  • Understanding of internet technologies (WWW FTP EMAIL TCPIP VPN)
