We are seeking to appoint two Trainee Masterkey Advisors within the ASSA ABLOY Operations team, Portobello, Willenhall. Reporting to the Masterkey Team Leader.

The primary objectives of this position are:

  • Masterkey development and processing of Masterkey orders in a timely manner.
  • Providing administration duties along with customer service support to the Mastekey customer base and sales force via both telephone and email. Ensuring the customer is your main focus at all times.

Key responsibilities and duties are to:

  • Develop Mastekey suites, allocation and calculation of key combinations relevant to customer orders across all cylinder systems.
  • To translate and transfer orders into AX product codes and text.
  • Process all Masterkey orders the same day they are received.
  • Raise and record clarifications/queries relating to these orders & processing through to conclusion.
  • Ensure incoming correspondence coming into the area are distributed and processed.
  • Answer the telephone in an efficient and effective manner. Providing excellent customer services at all times.
  • Respond to email enquiries, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain Masterkey records (both electronic and manual) ensuring these are both up to date and in good order.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • The ability to work under pressure, to deadlines with a strong determination to solve problems and resolve queries
  • Experience of using Microsoft office packages with good computer skills
  • Confidence and resiliance with the ability to deal with complex queries.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good standard of Education - GCSE’s minimum of A-C/9-7 in Maths and English.
  • Ideally experience of working within a busy customer services team. However, on the job training will be provided in full.
  • The role will appeal to candidates who have an interest and an understanding of mathematical calculations.
