工作内容

The Learning Rooms is a community involvement, non profit making company that offers day provision to adults with additional needs, assisting them to gain life, work and independence skills through horticulture, floristry, catering, arts and crafts, retail, photography, sport and work experience sessions and training. On site we have a gift shop, café with outdoor area (including our small animals), small garden centre. Offsite we have an allotment and small charity shop. Volunteers are required to assist clients and/or staff, to achieve their aims within arts and crafts. Clients participate in a variety of arts and crafts, working on small activities as well as longer term projects. Clients requiring support have additional needs, for example learning difficulties, disabilities, mental health.

An enhanced DBS check is required for this position. Ideally volunteers will have an interest and/or skills in the above activity - craft, and have a caring nature and an ability to support others.
