Technical Gas Engineer £DOE Bournemouth Are you looking to build a career within a thriving and dynamic company? We are looking for an experienced Technical Gas Engineer to join our team. Glow Green are a 10 year old, FCA regulated boiler installation and servicing & breakdown company. We have recently received £2M of funding from our new business partners, Utility Warehouse (Telecom Plus PLC), and we are now marketing our boiler services to their 700,000 customers through a network of 40,000 sales partners. Our exciting and unique partnership with Utility Warehouse has given us the opportunity to expand, so we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated office / home based Technical Gas Engineer to join our busy Technical Team. This would be an ideal role for a Technical Gas Engineer that is looking to come off the tools but still has passion for boilers and enjoys thinking outside the box to quickly resolve onsite issues, whilst having the customer at the heart of what they do. Responsibilities / Duties The successful Technical Gas Engineer will be responsible for:
  • Provide technical support to our Customer Relations Department and customers;
  • Management of Service and Breakdown Engineers - supporting first time fix rates;
  • Carrying out remote digital audits on all boiler installations through our bespoke CRM system;
  • Working in progress and post audits remote inspections;
  • Supporting to build new GAS procedures and tool box talks. Benefits of working at Glow Green

  • Standard working hours, Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5 pm. Experience / Key Skills required
  • At least 5 years experience with the installation and breakdown of domestic gas boilers;
  • Good knowledge of S&Y plan systems;
  • Experience in dealing with customer complaints to the highest standards;
  • Experience with installing Worcester Bosch and Vaillant boilers;
  • Auditing experience - desirable but not essential.
