ACJ Search are working with a Northamptonshire based designer and manufacturer of engines who are seeking a Senior Engineer with experience of 1D simulation to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity that would give you exposure to a diverse and challenging range of projects across motorsport, automotive, aerospace and marine sectors.

We are looking for people who are able to demonstrate:

  • A good degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and IC engine systems
  • Extensive experience of 1D engine simulation
  • A strong understanding of engine gas-exchange processes and gasoline direct injection combustion systems
  • Knowledge of steady-state and transient CFD simulation of engine components

You would be joining a business at the very front of their field and have an opportunity to be involved in cutting edge engineering projects.
