In Return You Will Receive The Following

Clemence rogers are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to join an established manufacturing business, who despite the pandemic have continued to grow and invest in new technology. Reporting into the Production Director, you will be responsible for delivering the safe operating efficiency of the production process, develop a team proud to be defined by the quality of the products and strive to improve system and processes under your control.

Benefits: £36,000 salary, 33 days holiday including bank holidays, flexible working hours, Monday to Friday working days, company pension scheme and onsite parking available.

As The Production Manager You Will Be
  • Establishing manufacturing improvements to ensure production and process outputs are increased
  • Working with the H&S department to develop or update Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Working Procedures and best practices for production operations Manage, recruit and scale the business in line with business needs – projecting large scale growth in the next few years
  • Managing the smooth running of the production department, ensuring products are manufactured efficiently and meet the company’s high standards in quality
  • Assessing and reviewing staff performance, offering feedback, both constructive and positive, to support the professional development of team members
Measuring progress to plan, gathering information from the various scan points established throughout the process, collate information, and produce reports as required
  • Taking full ownership of your department Profit and Loss account aiming to deliver above budget financial performance.
Motivating and managing the team to achieve high levels of schedule adherence, aspiring to 100% On Time In Full (OTIF) to prevent failed deliveries and meet customer expectations
  • Ensuring that all equipment, materials and supplies are readily and continuously available to carry out production processes
  • Maintaining effective communication with other business areas to ensure smooth running in all areas of manufacturing operations.
  • Conducting team briefs to clearly communicate targets, achievements, improvements and business change to all team members
  • Managing departmental issues and queries, escalating to Senior Management as required
  • Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure materials are available at the point of use
As The Production Manager You Will Have
  • A minimum of 3 years at a Production Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader in a manufacturing business
  • Proven management skills at all levels
  • Expereince delivering the very best in health & safety
  • Strong IT Skills, including Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent organisational, time-management, interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • The ability to work with people at all levels within the company and the customer’s organisation
