Operations Manager - Night Shift

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a talented Operations Manager to join us at our Northampton Cross Deck.

This role will be 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday on Night Shift

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a crucial member of our management team. You will be responsible for efficiently deploying and managing resources with a view to maximise profits. You will help the Dross Deck achieve outstanding service levels, whilst driving productivity. You will lead the team across both warehouse and transport operation and will be heavily involved in recruitment; development and retention of team members.

To be Successful, you will:

• Lead by example, coach and develop and adopt a hands on approach
• Have the ability to run a positive, fast paced operation, managing and motivating the team to succeed
• Have a knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety regulations , accommodated by a recognised H&S qualification
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships with peers, team members and key stakeholders
• Be driven to meet and exceed targets and deliver excellent customer service
• Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills
• Have experience working within FMCG/ logistics, warehouses or distribution at management level
• Have experience of managing a budget, working to operational KPI’s and financial targets
• Have a full UK driving license
• Have experience in enforcing and ensuring compliance across all areas, including health and safety
