How will we support you?


Right from the start of your career with us, youll be supported in your development. Youll join our Level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship, a 12 month Programme that will give you the tools to be successful in your role. Over the length of your apprenticeship programme, youll explore:

  • Effective communication face to face, over the phone and online

  • Building rapport with customers to develop profitable relationships

  • Evaluating customer service delivery by gathering data and suggesting improvements


Our Apprenticeships are focused on your development and factor study time into your working week, so you can achieve your qualification without affecting your work-life balance. Youll be provided with a fantastic support network through; 1:1 coaching, mentoring and technical and skills training to enable you to progress your career with us.


What will you be doing?


There is no such thing as a typical day at Travis Perkins. What you can expect is to gain exposure across a number of areas within our Customer Service Team, allowing you to see where your strengths and interests lie and the direction you would like to develop your career in.

Your role responsibilities will require you to:

  • Answer customer queries over the phone, email and social media in a timely and professional manner.

  • Ensure our customers feel heard and supported, allowing you to agree solutions to any challenges they may be having.

  • Support the team with effective analysis and reporting of team performance, suggesting improvements to processes where appropriate.
