Intelligence Researcher

Do you enjoy investigation work? Are you interested in dealing with fraud cases and have an analytical mindset with an eagle - eye for detail? Our Claims Crime team is looking for an Intelligence Researcher to join them on a 6 month secondment basis. It’s an excellent opportunity to put your research and reporting skills to practice!

You’ll be involved in varied tasks and investigation based work, providing detailed analysis, reporting and dissemination of crime networks using a range of datasets to identify crime risk exposure. You’ll also support internal crime teams and key internal/external stakeholders and enforcement bodies. It is a crucial role in the team, supporting our fantastic team of Researchers and Analysts and being more involved in wide business stakeholder management.

About you

So, whether you’ve got previous experience in Claims, Underwriting or simply have excellent research and analysis skills, this opportunity may be just right for you!

Ideally we’re seeking someone who has a good understanding of fraud and fraud prevention methods so that you can effectively use some of our key platforms, such as SIRA or CIFAS. You’ll also have experience of producing clear and concise written reports and/or process review briefings. In addition, you’ll be proficient in using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

However, over and above the technical skills, you’ll be able to demonstrate an inquisitive approach to your work and be able to critically analyse the data that you’re working on. As it is a key role supporting the wider team, you’ll also have excellent communication and relationship building skills.

Details

• Conduct triage and analysis on incoming intelligence from multi-source agencies to identify productive intelligence within SLA
• Research triaged intelligence and produce reports for dissemination to our internal customers within SLA
• Process and identify potential intelligence development opportunities
• Support the analytics team with feedback to the analytics output, to ensure we measure the benefits to our customers
• Delivery of ad-hoc research for internal stakeholders
