OnBuy is growing and we’re now looking for a new FP&A Analyst to join our team on a 6 month Fixed-Term Contract. This is a new position reporting into OnBuy’s CFO, but working cross-functionally with great exposure to the wider business. We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially minded accountant/analyst to help us drive profitable growth. You will own the company’s financial model which projects future performance. As a result, you will have a tangible influence in the company’s future strategy. We’re also planning our international expansion, so there’s no better time to join us!

The role:

As a FP&A Analyst with OnBuy, you will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining and developing the company financial model, and understand the key inputs
  • Scenario and sensitivity analysis
  • Preparation of shareholder, board or new investor presentations
  • Modelling new developments such as new products, or international expansion
  • Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Financial analysis of monthly results – understanding the core drivers of variances
  • A focus on automation, improving accuracy and re-forecasting faster – to free up time for decision making
  • Support future funding rounds / IPO
  • Ad hoc analysis and financial project work

Requirements

We’re looking for:
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Financial modelling experience
  • Highly inquisitive and detail-orientated
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financials into meaningful business recommendations
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Confident in working with other areas of the business, and stepping outside the finance department
  • Comfortable managing a busy and varied role in a scale up environment

It is also desirable that you have:
  • E-commerce or marketplace experience

Benefits

The salary range on offer for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
