Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, high quality Customer & Partner Support advisor to join our expanding customer & partner support team. Your role will involve; administering customers policies and client files; delivering outstanding customer service to all existing and prospective customers and to ensure excellent attention to detail in all tasks and objectives set by line manager. Administration experience is not essential but would be advantageous. Full training, including our range of insurance products will be provided.

Tasks:

The jobholder will receive training and competence on completing the following tasks:

· Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers

· Uphold the company’s mission statement and values

· General administration work: Prioritise all client communication (via phone, email and in person) to ensure the customer receives a high level of customer service

· Update and load accidents and convictions from notifications by clients and/or insurers, re-rating where applicable and liaising with client regarding any change in premium

· Ensure all customer interactions are recorded on their file, process customer accounts and file documentation.

· Ensure extra vigilance when processing policy documents, ensuring all cover details are correct, inputting policy numbers and forward onto the client via post or email

· Answer incoming calls and correspondence from both clients and insurance companies, resolving any issues

  • Process client chaser letters to advise of both outstanding documents and money that is due and record all evidence in the policy diary and re-diary for future checks
  • Process tasks from the policy dairy or chaser trail, ensuring these are completed in a timely and efficient manner

· To ensure accuracy, efficiency and professionalism when dealing with internal and external clients, including both colleagues and insurers

· Liaise with the line manager regularly to ensure consistent processes are being followed and adhered to
Educational qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in Math’s & English

Previous Experience

Some experience of working in a customer facing environment

Previous office based work experience

Abilities

Able to manage your time well to complete tasks set – daily

Personal attributes

Responsible, professional, supportive, friendly personality, trustworthy, willing to work as part of a team & interested in learning new things

Insurance qualifications

None required

Essential Skills

IT literate i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel

Regulatory Requirements

With training, the job-holder must obtain knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to the role, including in particular, but not limited to disclosure requirements, rules relating to money handling, complaints processes, record keeping requirements & principles for conduct of business.
