About Our Client

Located in Brigg, North Lincolnshire my client manufacture products for a range of industries and due to growth are now looking to recruit a Continuous Improvement Engineer. This is an excellent new opportunity and would suit people from a Lean, CI or Process Engineering background.

Job Description

As a business my client recognise the importance of improvements so as the new Continuous Improvement Engineer you will be experienced with leading improvement projects, control process changes and investigate process related issues. Working with the senior management team you will be challenged to identify new production and business improvements across the manufacturing facility. Additionally, you will apply structured methodology to problem solving and undertake Root Cause Analysis and develop Corrective Actions.Other Responsibilities
  • Work closely with other teams and departments to develop process improvements.
  • Support section leaders to deliver business objectives meet targets.
  • Control and validate process changes using appropriate tools.
  • To assist in the development of standardised operating procedures.
  • Identify, develop and implement best practices across the plant.
  • To investigate the workplace flow and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Deliver cost savings that benefit the bottom line in line with the company strategy.
The Successful Applicant

To apply for the Continuous Improvement Engineer vacancy, you will live within a commutable distance of North Lincolnshire and come with a background in Manufacturing and Production. You will also have a qualification within Engineering, Lean or similar discipline.Other Requirements
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience
  • Proven track record of making an improvement in a company using Lean Manufacturing techniques
  • Minimum 2 years of delivering Lean manufacturing techniques
  • Analytical in approach to problem solving
  • Effective communicator at all levels
  • To be committed to a strong EHS on site.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office
What’s on Offer

As the new Continuous Improvement Engineer you will receive a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 depending on background experience with additional benefits on top. You will work Monday to Friday on Days with weekends off.
