About Our Client

Our client, a well known & growing business based in Bournemouth is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their Accountancy team

Job Description

Assistant Management Accountant - Bournemouth

  • Preparing and publishing a high-quality set of management accounts for discussion at Board meetings.
  • Monitoring of company performance compared to budgets and providing variance analysis to help interpret the numbers.
  • Development of annual and intra-year budgets and forecasts.
  • Monthly cost tracking in order to help stakeholders around the business control expenditure.
  • Calculation of prepayments and accruals along with supporting schedules.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring compliance with company approval procedures (e.g. for capital spend).
  • Assisting with the year-end process, supplying information to auditors as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate will be studying towards an accountancy qualification CIMA/ACCA/AAT & have Strong Microsoft Excel skills
