Youth Support Assistant - Wandsworth - ASAP Start - £75-£90 a day - Pupil Referral Unit ***Youth Support Assistant required in Wandsworth ***Youth Support Assistant required to start ASAP ***Youth Support Assistant required for a Pupil Referral Unit ***Must have an enhanced DBS within 12 months or be registered to the Update Service Would you be interested in working as a Youth Support Assistant? Do you have previous experience supporting with children or adults with extreme challenging behaviour? Are you Team Teach or MAPA trained? If you answered yes to the above, then this Youth Support Assistant is for you! Youth Support Assistant For this Youth Support Assistant role you will be required to support 6 students aged between 11-14 years with their Maths, English and Science in preparation for the GCSEs which they will be sitting in the next few years as well as some vocational subjects. All the students who attend this school have been excluded from a mainstream school due to their extreme behaviour. The ideal Youth Support Assistant for this role will need to have had previous experience dealing with challenging behaviour and also be trained in physical intervention. Pupil Referral Unit This Pupil Referral Unit based in Wandsworth has onsite parking and is a short walk from the local train station.

They currently have over 90 students on role aged between 7-18 years, who have been excluded from a mainstream school due to their behaviour. The schools main aim is to improve their student’s attendance and attitude towards their education with a long-term view to be able to transition back into a mainstream school.
