Year 2 Teaching Assistant - Greenwich, SE London – Full-Time Post

This Greenwich, SE London based school’s friendly and conscientious team are looking for a sociable Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join their ranks.

This role would be perfect for a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or Graduate who are looking to build further on the classroom teaching assistant experience.

• About the Year 2 Teaching Assistant Role
As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant you will be assisting the teaching and learning specifically within a well-behaved Year 2 class of 30 pupils. Your duties will include assisting with the lesson plan and ensuring that the correct resources are available for when the lesson is delivered.
You will have opportunities to get fully get involved in the wider school life, including contributing your ideas and efforts to after school clubs. You will be provided with exceptional training and support for this position. As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant you will be working in partnership with the friendly class teacher who has managed to develop an outstanding work ethic and ethos within the class.
You will find that the School Leadership Team will always be open to your approach and they will be ready to offer advice and guidance at every turn.
