Your new company

A village school in the Yate area of South Gloucestershire are currently looking for a Year 2 Teacher to join their team. You will be joining a team of strong and supportive staff members dedicated to providing a curriculum that prepares children for their next stage. This school is a 1 form entry school, which has a high focus on inclusion and equality ensuring a high quality of teaching for the best outcome from their pupils.

Your new role

Starting in term 5, you will be working as a full-time Year 2 Class Teacher for 5 days per week, working alongside a KS1 specialist teaching assistant in a class of approximately 21 pupils. This is a full time role, with the requirement for both planning and attendance to staff meetings. In this, you will get half a day per week for planning (PPA).

What you’ll need to succeed
  • Have teaching experience within the last 5 years
  • Experience Teaching KS1 desirable
  • Hold a UK Qualified Teacher Status
  • Good Knowledge of the English National Curriculum
