Airtrace® Sheet Metal are probably the UK’s largest manufacturer of supply-only sheet metal

ductwork. From our substantial manufacturing plant in East Sussex, we supply ductwork to

contractors needing high-quality ductwork at a competitive price, with a fast turnaround. We

specialise in the fabrication of sheet metal and ductwork for the Heating, Ventilation and Air

Conditioning industry, manufacturing to the highest standards.

Teamwork throughout our workshop and production. Airtrace® have a great opportunity for a Full-Time - Yards Person to join our successful, fast-paced team.

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable individual who has proven experience in these areas. The

position is working Monday to Friday and 1 in 4 Saturdays. You will be paid £9.90 per year, which will be reviewed on completion of a successful 6-month probation period, and a monthly payment of £150.00 for being a designated Company Forklift Truck driver (once the course has been completed).

We have vacancies on the following shifts:

Early Shift: 5.30 am to 14.30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Loading and unloading lorries

• Organising a busy yard

• Keeping the yard clean and tidy

• Assisting with replenishing stock, stock checks, and stock rotation.

• Occasional local deliveries and collections

• Adhering to Health & Safety Regulations

Candidates should inform Airtrace® at the time of application if they will need help to perform the lifting part of this role.

Requirements:

• You will have experience in driving a forklift truck (essential)

• You will have category C1 on your driving license to move 7.5T vehicles. (preferred)

• Applicants would need to be 25 or above, due to age constraints on our vehicle insurance.

• Clean driving license (preferred)

• Attention to detail to ensure incoming stock is of good quality.

• Ability to follow Health and Safety regulations.

• Teamwork.

The successful candidate will be placed on a Forklift Truck refresher course paid for by the Company.
