Measham DE12Key role and responsibilities for Yard Operative ;
  • Carries out start up procedures, checks diesel level and ensures ash is cleared from the unit.
  • Locks lid prior to start up and ensures that the lid remains locked during operation.
  • Follows safe shut down procedures and ensures unit is secure on completion of incineration tasks.
  • Carries out any other waste disposal/tidying tasks as necessary ensuring waste is correctly segregated and baled as instructed.
  • Maintains an organised approach to storing recycled products.
Minimum requirements for Yard Operative ;
  • Forklift licence desirable but not essential
  • Health & Safety awareness
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Accuracy in stock checks
Pay rate: £10.25-10.75 per hourWorking HoursMonday - Friday plus alternate Saturdays08:00 - 17:00What We Offer For Yard Operative
