We are looking for an experienced and talented individual to join our team of Steel Fabricators.

The successful candidate will have forklift experience with large and heavy loads and be able to take the initiative loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and timely manner. We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate safe working practices, show initiative, work independently and be responsible for all required yard duties.

For vehicle insurance reasons applicants must be 25 years and over.

Responsibilities:
- Operate forklift to load and unload materials from trucks and trailers
- Assist with deliveries and collection of goods using the company vehicles
- Painting steel beams
- Assisting the fabricators where required
- Maintain and keep yard tidy including the workshop and canteen

Skills:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating a forklift handling large and uneven loads
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Probation - 6 month probationary period

This position will involve some early/late starts & finishes when required

Salary: £12.00 per hour

  • Commercial Vehicle Driving: 1 year (preferred)

  • Forklift Licence (preferred)
