Active Staff are excited to be partnering with a manufacturing company who are expanding. The company is looking for a full-time workshop technician to join the company on a permanent basis.Role Details- To carry out hydraulic pump, motor and valve stripdowns, analysis, repairs and new unit modifications in the Workshop
- Create written reports into the condition of un-repaired units and prepare a list of required parts and quantities to carry out the repair
- To be involved in the functional test of repaired and modified units
- Reporting to the Workshop & Aftersales Manager
- Experience in a workshop or similar technician role repairing, building or maintaining precision made mechanical components to a high level
- To have a good eye for detail and consistency
- To work to Company and general engineering best practices and standards
- Ability to work well in a small team, communicate well and use initiative to challenge and improve existing working practices
- An academic qualification in a relevant technical subject would be an advantage
- Have the right to work in the UK
