Wilby Tree Surgeons Ltd a privately owned Arboricultural Contractor based in Ecton are looking to employ a Workshop Mechanic experienced in all aspects of vehicle and plant maintenance to maintain our diverse range of equipment.

They need to be a driven self-starter, conscientious and organised. To have excellent communication skills, be able to liaise with third parties for purchasing and the scheduling of repairs which cannot be dealt with inhouse.

To have a minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, working on HGV vehicles and be responsible for carrying out repairs in a timely and economic way to ensure maximum utilisation of all equipment and ensure compliance of all legislative requirements.

To take pride in their work, the vehicles they maintain and the service they provide.

To communicate with the Operations Team, be pro active and responsive.

A Category C licence is desirable as call outs will form part of the responsibility of this role, but training would be given to the right candidate.

Pay Rates: To be discussed at interview

Hours Mon – Friday 07:30 – 4:30 with overtime available and a degree of flexibility required to coincide with the operational needs of the team.
